This pattern is considered an intermediate level knitting pattern and requires the following skills (links to tutorials are included in the pattern):
Provisional Cast On
Stranded Colorwork
Catching Floats
Kitchener in the round
The pattern includes both charted and written instructions.
Inspired by Scandinavian style botanical patterns and the blooms in a spring or summer garden, this tubular cowl is knit from a provisional cast on using stranded colorwork techniques. Kitchener stitch is used to close the tube forming a mobius style cowl. I love styling this type of cowl because it’s so easy to wear and adds the perfect pop of color to your wardrobe.
Grab a rich tonal for your main color and either 6 mini skeins/scraps or a single contrast color and get ready for some happy knitting.
Yarn Bundles may be available for sale in my webshop.
