How do I get my hands on your yarn?
- My inventory changes often. If you see something you love, don't wait. I make no promises to repeat colorways, but I do promise to keep the Hand Dyed Happy coming. There will always be something new to love.
- The Dyed To Order Essential Tonals Collection is new for 2025. Order what you need, when you need it! Choose from superwash and non superwash bases that are ultra soft and lovely to work with in 30 or so colorways.

The Hand Dyed Happy Yarn Club is a monthly subscription club that offers a guarantee of receiving something beautiful from my studio each month. No waiting for updates or worrying about being cart jacked. The club is currently my top priority each month.
- I send newsletters out weekly with information about what will be newly available on my website as well as things I love and what I'm working on. I try to post previews of incoming inventory on my Instagram and Facebook pages.
- Sew Happy Jane hand dyed yarn is sold exclusively on my website or through in person shows. At this time I do not offer wholesale.
Shipping Policies/Information:
- Sew Happy Jane offers shipping services through USPS.
- Once your package leaves the studio I cannot be held responsible for the timing of its arrival. Please allow sufficient time for items to arrive. 3-6 weeks is customary for overseas orders. 1-2 weeks should be sufficient time for domestic orders to arrive.
- Both Ground Advantage and Priority Mail offer $100 of insurance in case of loss, theft, or damage. Please contact me if we need to file a claim.
- Customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. I am not able to adjust purchase prices for over seas packages.
- Items marked as delivered will not be refunded or replaced. Please call your local post office and inquire about the GPS delivery site. Mis-deliveries should be handled through the USPS.
- Please make sure you have given me the correct mailing address at the time of your order. If an item is returned to me, or delivered incorrectly because of an inaccurate address, you will be responsible to pay to have your order shipped again, or you may choose to have the item cost (minus shipping fees) returned to your original payment method once I receive the yarn back in original, resalable condition.
Shipping Times:
- Ready To Ship items will leave the studio within 3-5 business days. Business days are Monday-Friday.
- Quality Control is important to me! Sometimes as I am packing orders I notice a problem with a skein of yarn, and I have to re-dye the colorway to make sure you get the best possible product. If this happens I will contact you, and your yarn will be re-dyed and shipped within 7 business days.
- Dyed to order and Pre-order shipping times vary and will be stated explicitly in the listing. Please read the listing carefully to make sure the timeframe will work for your chosen project.
- Yarn Club orders Renewal Billing occurs on the 1st of each month, and boxes are shipped on or around the 20th of the same month. The deadline to make changes to your renewal is the 15th of each month.
Returns/Refunds:
If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me to arrange a return within 14 business days of the delivery date. I'll gladly accept returns for yarn in original, unused condition as long as I receive a tracking number from you within 14 days of delivery. Insuring your package is always a good idea.
Once I have received the yarn in original/resale-able condition I will credit your original payment method with the purchase price, minus shipping and a 5% restocking fee.
Custom orders, Yarn Club orders, and dyed to order purchases are not eligible for returns.
