Dyed To Order: Sport Weight Merino Yarns

This is a Dyed To Order Listing. Turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks. Your order will ship within 2 weeks from the time you place your order. If you order other items with the dyed to order listings, your other items will ship with dyed to order items. 

Please order all that you need for your project. Your yarn will be dyed just for you to make sure you get the best color match possible, and mixed dye lots will not match.

There are TWO yarn options available in this listing. 

Springy Sport (top skein in the image above) is a soft and bouncy sport weight yarn made of 100% washable merino wool. Next to skin soft with a round constuction that is perfect for textured projects with excellent stitch definition. The nature of superwashed yarns means they take color in a very saturated way and have a bit of "brightness" compared to their untreated counterparts. 

Organic Merino Sport (bottom skein in the image above) is ultra soft and lovely for next to skin projects. Grown organically, this non-superwash yarn is lovely to work with and to wear. The three plies make it plump and very squishy. The color will be slightly more muted than its superwash counterpart because the dye soaks more fully into the fibers. This yarn will felt/full if it is not hand washed. 

Hand wash, lay flat to dry. Test for color fastness by blocking your swatch in cool, plain water. We recommend using color catchers for projects that include more than one color of yarn.

Flowering Quince: warm, bright coral with both tangering and bubblegum pink washes.
Poppy Cheeks: warm, peachy-pink with dusty rose undertones.

Anne Shirley Auburn: warm, rusty orange with deep and light washes of color.
