2020 4 Day Knit Along with Olive Knits

It's almost time for the 4 day KAL with Marie Greene of Olive Knits once again. This will be the fourth year of knitting a sweater in record time. (If you're like me, you'll take your sweet time and go at your very own pace!) Marie will pre-release her pattern on May 28th, and on July 1st the official pattern will launch.

I recommend a tonal yarn for the body of the sweater, and either a tonal or a high contrast speckled or hand painted yarn for the colorwork. Marie knit her original sweater using a Non-Superwash "crunchy" yarn. If you want your yarn to closely mirror hers select my Rustic Highland Wool.  If you prefer next to skin softness and wash-ability you'll want to select either Delightful DKor Delightful Tweed DK.

My "In Progress" Version using Rosey Glow and Contemplation on Delightful DK.

Sew Happy Jane is offering 3 different yarn bases for this project.
1. Delightful DK (100% SW Merino) (STILL AVAILABLE)
2. Delightful Tweed DK (85% SW Merino with nylon neps) (STILL AVAILABLE)
3. Rustic Highland Wool DK (100% Non Superwash Peruvian Highland Wool)

You can pre-order the selected colorways on my website. I've put together a collection that offers both versatility and a wide range of pairing possibilities.

Sizing and yardage requirements

2-4 inches of ease is recommended for this design. Unlike many of Marie’s other designs this pattern is written for actual *finished* measurements. This means you should choose the number that fits actual bust size + desired ease.
