Can I tell you what I love about dyeing yarn? Story telling.
When I think about translating a feeling, a memory, or a story to yarn I feel inspired and excited to see what will happen when I head to the dye pots. I've been wondering for a few years what I could do each month to keep fueling the creative fire that results in my (and your) *most favorite* colorways of all time, and story is always a big part of that process.
Here are some of the images I've been gathering to inspire my process.
I'm not necessarily trying to make the yarn look exactly like a photo, but I'm hoping to capture an essence.
I aim to deliver timeless colorways inspired by nature and dyed using thoughtful techniques with the end results in mind. Because a beautiful skein of yarn is lovely and fun to hold and squish, but what is more important is how you turn it into something you'll love for years to come. So the techniques and colors I use matter a lot.
Let's talk about how you can get your hands on something Lovely and Just For You every month.
Introducing the Hand Dyed Happy Yarn Club.
Each month I'll pair your inspired yarn with a curated gift that is both beautiful and useful, package it up in a pretty box, and send it right to your mailbox. No trying to remember to head to the website at just the right time and hope you won't miss out.
